Tweeted about this a while back, Radioheatwave.com sent Cheryl (my co-host this sem!) and myself to the Pixar exhibition! All we had to do was talk about it on air after! :) How awesome is that! Entry tickets are about $20/pax for adults.

I had to go down to the Science centre myself from school and it was a nostalgic feeling. The west generally isn't my area and the last time I came to the science centre was in.. Primary school?

Pixar all arounddd!

I remember in this area they used to have this hugeeee "experiment" where wheels turned and metal balls rolled here and there. Oh dear, am I even making sense?

whooop big face. Camwhoring while waiting for Cheryl to arrive from driving.

at the entrance of the exhibition.

Didn't take any photos inside but it's alot of sketches, storyboards and models. It's crazy how they call it sketches cause they totally look like something that i would have to take time to draw and all. The people at pixar are really insanely talented.

It's really not that much for kids though, as much as I enjoyed it.

One random day after school when we all just decided to go out! (wenwen not included cause she was meeting her friend).

We were in Marina Square and decided to try Mr. Curry. They're under Waraku and I've never tried that cause the boyf doesn't like it :(

Trecia's shrimp omelette curry rice!

om nom nom

my food!

bacon and spinach

Taking photos of us having a meal and going out really reminded me of times in Taiwan! Trecia was constantly bombarding my camera and it felt exactly like this. Oh woe; my internship :(

Headed to *Scape for yet another DPA meetup, this time with a larger turnout!

Here's me, trying to do the static experiment with Viki's balloon

pweeedy!

After entertaining ourselves for about 1.5 hours, everyone finally arrived and we headed to the Music Cafe by Swee Lee on Level 3.

The place and food is so-so but the prices are really really worth it. Most of the girls ordered a burger set, which came with a drink (coke/lemon tea) and fries and the total price was $4.90?!

muack muack love you all

Upon walking out, Jon (cary's boyf) appeared out of nowhere (like he usually does) and then impromptu plans were made to head down to Esplanade for drinks.

We ended up at 7atenine

Ordered food and drinks and then my camera died. HAAAAA. I'm really enjoying our food/drinks date! It has gone on for about a month so far? Hopefully we still can make time for it when school starts Monday D:

P/S: Next update would probably be my activities at *Scape. Curious what I've been up to? ^^

6 June 2010

Sunday is our weekly go-out day. We headed to ikea tampines cause i wanted to check out some furniture (yeap! finally got my new study table!)

Ikea restaurant as usual! I'm so sorry if you're sick of seeing the same baked chicken leg, hehehee.

Wern's curiousity got the better of him, so he grabbed this Blue & Yellow Punch Roll.

*same pose as the food pic above!! no creativity!*

actually i kinda also have the same pose. hmm...

check out all his faces

We then headed to tampines one and all the malls around the area instead of town, just for a change. Brought the boy to Popeye's at Century Square just cause he has never tried it yet! I love it!

He also finished eating way earlier than I did, so he began snapping a whole series of unglam food photos.

Yum. This was prolly the best photo.

Outfit for the day!

P/S: WHY DO I STILL HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO BLOG ABOUT? :b

3 June 2010

A final conclusion to the Taiwan Trip organised by the School of Film & Media Studies for 2010. A presentation of our journey.

here's lenne & i presenting our Ogilvy parts.

The whole group of us then headed down to the new Island Creamery outlet at King Albert Park :)

Lenne & I were originally supposed to embark on our exciting journey on a hybrid internship with Ogilvy Taiwan. However, many things happened along the way and now we're going separate ways :( She has secured an internship with ST's Urban. I'm left dangling. It's a real bleak period of my life, really.

4 June 2010

Back at 3 Wombats Cafe after a long while! Ros & I always talked about going back but we never found the time to do so.

i hope she doesn't kill me for putting this photo up. Let's see what she says.

boy, do i loveeee italian soda :)

as usual, the vegetarian breakfast set

yummms.

Total Pig-out day, because later in the evening I met up with my family to try out this authentic Japanese restaurant that my dad has been raving about.

yum sashimi yum

My dad then wanted to order sake so the lady boss recommended a special sake "boiled" with the fins of a pufferfish.

trying the drink

super awesome teriyaki grilled cod fish

konnyaku with asparagus

pig intestines

yum nom - bacon & asparagus

Pomelo icecream

chocolate crust with mint ice cream

made-on-the-spot muahchee & redbean :)

family photo! :D

The bill totaled to about $400, which is pretty insane for my standards, but the food is undoubtedly good and there were so many Japanese dining there.
